You are responsible for any authorized and unauthorized use of the Service and agree to inform us immediately in writing or by phone at 1-800-XFINITY during normal business hours if the Xfinity device has been stolen or if the services are used without your permission. If you do not notify us on time, services may be terminated without notice and you may be charged additional fees. Below are examples of cable tv franchise agreements made by the local government in Washington. Note, however, that these deductibles may not match the 2019 FCC order described above. We will add new examples as they become available. A cable television franchise agreement is a legal agreement between the city and Comcast, which is imposed by national and federal law. The agreement allows Comcast access to the city`s access rights to provide its services, and the franchise addresses other issues such as access to public channels of access to education and government, non-discriminatory rates for customers, authorizations, termination requirements before digging up the way and payment of fees and fees incurred. If you are unable to solve a problem to your satisfaction in our local office, you can write to Comcast Corporate Offices at 1701 John F. Kennedy Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19103-2838 with concerns and complaints.

a. Full agreement. This agreement and any other document included by reference constitute the complete agreement and agreement between you and us with respect to the purpose of this Agreement and replace all previous written or oral agreements. If part of this agreement is found to be unenforceable, the unenforceable part must be interpreted in the best possible way in accordance with existing legislation, in order to take into account the parties` original intentions, and the rest of the provisions remain fully in force and effective. We do not waive a provision or right if we do not insist or strictly enforce a provision of that agreement. Neither the evolution of the behaviour between you and us nor the commercial practice can change a provision of this agreement. On December 11, 2018, the Board of County Commissioners approved a new 10-year franchise agreement with Comcast. The agreement concerns the provision of cable television services in the borough of Calvert.

By law, cable franchise agreements are only for cable television services and not for Internet services. b. Customer equipment. “Customer Equipment” refers to the software, hardware or services you wish to use in relation to the Services that are not provided or rented by us or our agent. Notwithstanding the last sentence, all devices you purchased from us (or our agent) and as part of an express sales contract are “customer equipment.”
