If necessary, sign up for your full-time or part-time Master Student Financial Assistance Agreement (MSFAA). The Master Student Financial Assistance Agreement (MSFAA) is a lifetime study credit contract that must therefore be concluded only once for full-time or part-time studies. If your financial institution is not a SecureKey login partner or you don`t want to use this service, you can access login information (username and password) via GCKey, a Canadian government service. If you have any questions about your financial assistance from your provincial government, please contact Enrolment Services and/or the corresponding province`s financial assistance website. U von T will ensure that unmet needs are met for students considered by OSAP to be in greatest need of assistance and whose assessed needs are not fully met by state aid. The Master Student Financial Assistance Agreement (MSFAA) is a legal document that defines your responsibilities and the conditions for accepting and repaying your student loans. MSFAA is a multi-year contract. Students in the following groups must complete the MSFAA to obtain public funds (subsidies and loans) for the academic year: students who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents may be eligible for financial assistance from their provincial governments. Nominations for the fall session are usually available in late May or early June. It is recommended to apply for a student loan at least 10 weeks before the start of the new year of study. Please note that you can still only hold student loans from a province.
The University of Toronto Advance Planning for Students (UTAPS) is a financial assistance program for full-time students, Canadian citizens, permanent residents or protected persons (recognized congressional refugees) who are entitled to state assistance based on the needs or financial assistance of a First Nations group. If you are a full-time student who receives OSAP, your loan will automatically be interest-free for your study stay once the university has confirmed your enrolment.
